This panel may look a bit confusing at first so we will go through it step by step.

Core Voltage Question

In this section you have to enter the Core Voltage for your CPU. The Core Voltage is monitored by the LM78/LM79/WinBond W83781D, and these chips can monitor 2 ports. You have to determine yourself which port this is.

The 1st step you should do is determine your CPU’s Core Voltage. This can be found in the manual of your Motherboard. For those of you who can’t find it or don’t know I have Included a little list .

The 2nd step is to determine which Port needs to be monitored by the program. As a rule you can go from the fact that Socket 7 CPU’s use Port 1 and Slot 1 CPU’s (Pentium II’s) use Port 0. You can also determine this with a bit of logic: if your Core Voltage is 2.8v and port 0 shows 2.79v while port 1 shows 1.4v you can be pretty sure you need Port 0

CPU type question

In this section you have to tell Motherboard Monitor which CPU you are using: Intel, AMD or Cyrix. For more info on this subject please check out the Compensation Tab.

Once you are satisfied with what you have entered press OK to go to the 1st Time Information screen. Remember you can always change these settings in the program itself
